Mallinckrodt Baker Inc. joins EDMA, the European Diagnostic Manufacturers Association as new corporate affiliate, bringing the Association’s overall membership up to 28 major IVD companies and 20 National Associations. A division of Tyco Healthcare, Mallinckrodt Baker offers a broad line of analytical reagents.
Mallinckrodt Baker, Inc. is part of the Pharmaceuticals Division of Mallinckrodt, a unit of Tyco Healthcare and Specialty Products, which is one of five business units of Tyco International Ltd.
Mallinckrodt Baker Inc. brings together the expertise in manufacturing pharmaceuticals of Mallinckrodt Paharmaceuticals and the experience in chemicals production acquired by the J.T. Baker Chemical Company to distribute its range of diagnostic kits, haematological chemicals, salts, solvents, solutions, acids and chromatography media.
Based in Philipsburg, New Jersey, Mallinckrodt Baker has subsidiaries in East Asia, Central and Latin America as well as in Europe. Here their activities cover France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.
