“DIAGNOSTICS FOR HEALTH”: EDMA UNVEILS BRAND NEW LOGO AND TAGLINE
Brussels, 28 November - Today, the European Diagnostic Manufacturers Association (EDMA) is proud to present for the first time its brand new logo and tagline, following an exciting and comprehensive rebranding exercise. This process has been identified as a crucial component in EDMA’s determination to drive forward its activities to substantially enhance the voice and recognition of the in vitro diagnostics industry at the European level over the coming years.
Capitalising on the increasing importance of the in vitro diagnostics industry in the formulation and implementation of European healthcare policy, the new logo will serve to firmly and distinctly anchor EDMA in the minds of all relevant stakeholders as the driving-force behind the industry’s active engagement with key European policymakers and other healthcare associations. It is envisaged that the design chosen – one that is minimalist, yet truly distinctive in royal blue and red – will be an excellent asset in the future work of EDMA as it completes its first major rebranding in over five years.
EDMA President, Dr Jürgen Schulze, commented on the new logo: “This is undoubtedly an exciting time for EDMA, as we work towards completing the rebranding and the logo and tagline are absolutely essential parts of this project. We want the logo to highlight to our members and all of the stakeholders who we actively and regularly engage with a sense of modernity and energy. It allows us to move forward into a decisive new stage of EDMA’s work, which is reflected also by our increasing cooperation with global IVD associations in order to address increased opportunities and challenges for our industry in a globalised world economy. Together, our aim is to contribute towards the formulation of policies that will allow the positive development and deployment of innovative diagnostics in both Europe and further afield.”
