EDMA Welcomes bmd a New Member
BioMedical Diagnostics (bmd) is the latest company joining EDMA, the European Diagnostic Manufacturers Association. With the arrival of bmd as new corporate affiliate, the overall membership scales up to 34 major IVD companies and 22 National Associations. The most recent EDMA member develops and markets advanced biological diagnostics tools for medical professionals.
Founded in 1986, bmd is active in the fields of autoimmune diseases (such as rheumatoid polyarthritis, lupus or thrombotic disease), allergies (food-related, respiratory and pediatric), and infectious diseases (including viral pathologies, infectious mononucleosis and bacterial angina).  
In addition, the company provides immunochemical tests for diagnosing heart failure and other coronary problems.
Along with the development of its own products, bmd is also involved in the manufacturing of products for other international distributors active across Europe, North Africa, Asia, Australia, Latin America and soon North America.
EDMA looks forward to a fruitful co-operation with bmd in making a real difference in health and life quality.
